Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of high quality playground equipment for local authorities throughout Europe. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a UK Sales Coordinator to cover maternity leave, reporting to the Proposals Manager.
The Sales Coordinator is critical to the company’s success in securing new business and retaining their existing client base. You will be responsible for managing and tracking sales projects from receipt at the office through all departments to sending the completed documents back to the client.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Liaison
Acting as the central point for customer service
Take an active role in welcoming and engaging new or existing customers and efficiently responding to their requirements.
Provide reactive and pro-active support to allocated UK Area Managers
Sales Project Coordination
Secure the efficient management and tracking of sales projects on behalf of Area Managers or your sales/marketing colleagues.
Work alongside the existing team to provide support for all UK Sales activities including Schools and Sport Brands.
Daily and weekly management of workload is required in consultation with the Proposals Manager and your colleagues.
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
An excellent telephone manner and good communication skills
Good customer and commercial focus
Ability to work on own initiative and a team player with a helpful ‘can do’ attitude
Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
Attention to detail in the preparation of documents
Good Microsoft Office package skills (specifically Word, Outlook, Excel)
Educational qualifications of a minimum of 6 GCSE’s at A-C grade including Maths and English.
