This position is located at our sales and service dealership in either Winnipeg, MB or Regina, SK.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Used Truck Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling used trucks while achieving and maintaining appropriate levels of gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction. This position evaluates trucks proposed for purchase, repossession, or trade-in, and recommends purchase price and terms to the Used Truck Sales Manager. This may be your dream job if you:

Your Responsibilities
- Work to achieve sales targets and demonstrate a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
- Develop sales opportunities by identifying, researching and contacting prospective customers
- Manage and report on sales action plans on a regular basis
- Meet planning and productivity goals
- Understand and work within required sales processes, write complete sales orders and process required paperwork in accordance with company policies
- Analyze trucks presented for purchase, trade-in, and repossession. Determine values based on blue book guide, market conditions, current auction results, and current inventory movement.
- Deliver vehicles to customers using walk-around presentation techniques, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
- Introduce customers to service and parts department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department
- Monitor customer inventories, auctions, websites, and wholesalers for purchase opportunities and help with the used-vehicle inspection process.
What We Look For
- Excellent sales skills, with 3+ years of demonstrated sales experience selling in a business-to-business environment
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Ability to negotiate is essential
- Have a valid Driver’s License and able to travel in your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement included and expenses reimbursable)
- Must be able to climb into and out of commercial transport vehicles, and lift up to 25 kg and carry short distances
SALARY
The Used Truck Sales Consultant is paid on a base salary plus commission. This position has uncapped commission potential. Expected first year earnings are between $100,000 - $120,000 and income generally grows year over year in years 2-5.
