Sysco is seeking an entry-level Sales Consultant Trainee to develop foundational sales skills and build a customer base within an assigned territory. You will learn Sysco's sales processes, product offerings, and customer service standards while working closely with experienced colleagues.

The role involves prospecting, presenting products, preparing proposals, negotiating within guidelines, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills relevant to sales.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Present Sysco's products and services to customers, addressing their needs and providing solutions.
• Prepare sales proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts within established guidelines.
• Process customer orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM and other sales tools.
• Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and other development activities.
