Your area of focus

The Sales Consultant interacts with customers online, over the phone, and in person to guide them through the vehicle purchase process. You will use your communication and listening skills to help customers select their perfect vehicle, negotiate terms, and ensure an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of customer-facing experience, a 'hunter' mentality, and a proven track record of building customer relationships.

Daily responsibilities include
  1. Greeting and assisting customers in the showroom, maintaining a professional environment that supports sales and customer satisfaction.
  2. Answering questions about vehicles, performance, financing, and application processes as a subject matter expert.
  3. Building rapport with customers to assist with vehicle selection and payment terms.
  4. Maintaining an up-to-date customer database to drive sales.
  5. Presenting vehicles through test drives, demonstrations, and walkthroughs.
  6. Negotiating sales to meet dealership standards while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  7. Following up with prospects via email and calls to meet productivity goals.
  8. Engaging with previous clients for repeat and referral business, maintaining high satisfaction standards.
  9. Staying current on dealer group and manufacturer training.
  10. Performing other duties as assigned by store leadership.
Must-have qualifications
  • Must be 18+ years old to meet insurance requirements.
  • Valid Driver’s License, acceptable Driver’s Abstract, and necessary employment documentation.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and MVR screening.
  • Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years in a customer-facing role, with experience in retail, sales, marketing, or customer service preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Competitive, driven, outgoing, and resilient to meet sales goals.
  • Bilingual in French and English preferred.
