Overview:

The Sales Consultant represents Southern Glazer’s in the market, driven by passion, innovation, and a customer-focused mindset. Their main responsibilities are visiting customers, engaging in consultative sales conversations, and increasing sales revenue. Building trusting relationships through face-to-face selling maximizes value for customers, suppliers, and SGWS.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.
  • Identify customer business growth needs.
  • Develop growth plans for each account and build a pipeline of opportunities to increase sales.
  • Analyze data to enhance sales and customer business.
  • Plan account visits with clear agendas and documented in CRM.
  • Prioritize activities to meet objectives based on growth plans.
  • Visit accounts regularly, document visit notes, and plan future visits.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and present solutions effectively.
  • Propose solutions and close sales using consultative skills.
  • Meet internal and supplier objectives.
  • Resolve customer issues, seek additional opportunities, and support business growth.
  • Adapt selling approaches to individual customer styles and needs.
  • Stay informed about competitors and market positioning.
  • Maintain detailed account information in CRM.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training, and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze data and information.
  • Proficiency with SGWS technology and tools.
  • Skill in building presentations and proposals.
  • Comfort with mobile devices and online communication.
  • Consistent results achievement, even under challenging circumstances.
  • Responsibility for actions and high service standards.
  • Effective communication tailored to audiences.

  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
