Job summary

Grimsby Hyundai is seeking a high-energy Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. You will provide exceptional customer service to guests visiting our dealership and drive our car sales through consultative, respectful interactions.

The role offers a 100% commission structure with earnings ranging based on performance, along with management support and opportunities for career mobility within Performance Auto Group.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service on all interactions, understand needs, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Answer sales inquiries on the phone and keep customers informed about vehicle delivery and pickup.
• Ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable.
• Project a positive attitude for customers and fellow employees.
• Read and adhere to OMVIC rules and employer procedures.

Here's what you'll deliver:

• Deliver exceptional customer service on all interactions, give all customers consideration and respect, understand their needs, and consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Answer Customer Service phone calls relating to car sale inquiries and keeping them informed with vehicle delivery and pick up.
• Ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable.
• Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and fellow employees.
• Read, understand, and adhere to all rules, regulations and procedures as required by the employer, and in compliance with the requirements and regulations of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).

What you need to succeed:

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected annual earnings): $40,000 - $90,000 per year. This is a 100% commission role with no base salary. The range reflects historical earnings at this dealership; actual earnings vary based on individual performance and business volumes.

Minimum earnings: In accordance with the Employment Standards Act, commission-paid employees will be paid at least the applicable Ontario minimum wage for all hours worked. Any minimum-wage top-up paid may be reconciled quarterly in accordance with the compensation plan.
