The position :

Sales Consultant will handle all Trail Appliances customers promptly and courteously to ascertain and meet their appliance / product needs. Sales staff will establish and maintain a satisfactory level of ongoing customer prospecting and achieve an acceptable level of sales.

New Location :

Trail Appliances Edmonton South has just opened our new location which boasts the following features :

  • Largest appliance showroom in Alberta at more than 35,000 sq ft
  • State of the art showroom with an incredible selection of brands.
  • High profile location expected to generate significant customer traffic
  • Fully functioning demo kitchen to showcase products in a kitchen setting

What you'll be doing :

  • Meet and exceed sales goals through effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding product features, pricing, and availability
  • Establish an on-going prospecting system
  • Accurately process orders through systems, processing customer payments, and successfully resolve customer problems
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and organizing products
  • Supply specifications of products to any trades involved in the customer's new home or renovation project

What you need to be successful :

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Basic computer skills

Compensation :

This is a commission-based role. As a commissioned Sales Consultant, you will have the opportunity to earn a competitive income, with an average earning potential of $60,000 to $90,000. However, some of our top performing Sales Representatives earn $150,000+.
