Job description

The Salesperson works with professionalism and consistency to successfully achieve sales goals. Kitchen Renovation Experience is required.
Reporting Relationship
The salesperson reports to the manager/franchisee as applicable.
Duties and Relationships
  1. Greets and meets showroom walk-in prospects as shared floor coverage requires.
  2. Registers showroom prospects in walk-in lead tracking system.
  3. Creates outside leads and sales other than those generated by the Idea Center and Design Studio’s advertising.
  4. Qualifies each prospect’s wants and needs into a plan of sales actions.
  5. Performs job site measuring and gathers the information necessary to create a cabinet layout, which meets the customer’s needs.
  6. Photographs the remodeling jobs that are being measured to provide “before” photographs for the showroom album.
  7. Gathers information on all job-related products in order to provide a presentation to the customer.
  8. Assembles a quote and related information to present to the customer with the goal of creating a sale.
  9. Revises quotes or drawings as customers’ wants and needs are assessed.
  10. Collects payments from customers.
  11. Communicates necessary information to KTU Design Services to enable them to complete a cabinet order. Or, if KTU Design Services is not used complete and place the order himself.
  12. Completes the purchase order requisition to enable the Administrative Assistant to type the purchase order.
  13. Initiates any job change orders.
  14. Meets the installer at the job prior to installation to inspect and cover all necessary details.
  15. Continues customer contact during the job and monitor all related activities.
  16. Processes all credit card payments from the customer.
