Qualifications

You’ll love your position as an Sales Consultant:

  • Customer Engagement:Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Understand their vehicle preferences and guide them through the sales process.
  • Product Knowledge:Develop a deep understanding of the vehicles in our inventory, including features, specifications, and available options, to effectively present them to customers.
  • Sales Process:Conduct test drives, explain financing options, and negotiate sales terms to ensure customer satisfaction and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Follow-Up:Maintain ongoing relationships with customers to address inquiries, provide post-sale support, and encourage repeat business.
  • Market Knowledge:Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Documentation:Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Compliance:Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to automotive sales.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We’d love to hear from you, if:

  • Previous experience in auto sales is an asset but not required. However, a minimum of 2 years of previous Canadian sales/retail/hospitality experience is required.
  • OMVIC certification or a willingness to obtain.
  • Technically savvy and prior DMS experience is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve sales targets.
  • Valid G driver's license and a clean abstract.
