Job Title: Sales & Business Development Consultant – Independent Contractor (2 vacancies)

Job Location: Vancouver, BC.Local travel required.

We offer a range of professional services to prospective clients, including but not limited to immigration, studying abroad, permanent residency, visas, visiting relatives, as well as business-related ventures, in Canada, the United States, and various other countries and regions.

Opportunity Overview
Altec Global is seeking entrepreneurial, commission-based Independent Sales & Business Development Consultants to promote our immigration and international advisory services. This opportunity is ideal for highly motivated self-starters who prefer autonomy in how and when they work, and who have an existing network or the ability to develop strong relationships—particularly within the Chinese and/or Vietnamese-speaking community.

As an Independent Contractor, you will:

  • Set your own schedule
  • Use your own car, computer, phone and resources to perform your work
  • Be responsible for your own business development activities
  • Operate independently, without direct supervision, while aligning with our brand and business objectives

Scope of Services (Representative Activities):

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities using your preferred outreach methods (calls, emails, social platforms, events, referrals, etc.)
  • Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Evaluate client eligibility based on guidance provided and share relevant service information
  • Coordinate directly with clients and AGI’s internal consultants to facilitate the intake process
  • Manage your own client relationship pipeline and follow up to close agreements
  • Promote AGI’s service offerings through your own network and marketing strategies
  • Conduct your own market research and identify growth opportunities
  • Plan and execute seminars, webinars, or events, if you choose, to build your client base
  • Maintain activity logs and sales tracking as part of your business operations

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Chinese and/or Vietnamese
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role
  • Experience in immigration consulting, international education, real estate, or advisory services is an asset
  • Culturally competent in working with Chinese-speaking clientele
  • Strong communication skills and entrepreneurial drive
  • Self-managed, disciplined, and results-oriented
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is helpful

Compensation:
This is aindependent contractor opportunity. You control your income through performance and client conversions. AGI provides operational support and access to immigration consultants to help facilitate client onboarding and delivery.
