Job summary

Wine Rack is seeking a Wine Merchant to deliver outstanding customer service and to educate customers about Arterra’s wines. You’ll work in a lively store setting, learn our wine education program, and taste award-winning wines.

Responsibilities include POS transactions, receiving shipments, replenishing shelves, and meeting shift targets. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Smart Serve certification is needed.

Qualifications

• Deliver exceptional customer experience in a retail wine store.
• Retail experience is an asset.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, team-based environment.
• Perform POS transactions and merchandising duties.
• Meet and exceed shift targets.
• Participate in community events and festivals.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS transactions and handle sales.
• Receive shipments and replenish stock on the floor.
• Maintain appealing product displays and signage.
• Assist customers with recommendations and questions.

• Meet and exceed shift targets

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• 19 years of age or older.
• High School or equivalent education is required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.
