Job summary

Wine Rack in Ottawa is seeking a friendly Wine Merchant to deliver exceptional customer service, manage POS transactions, and assist with merchandising. This role emphasizes wine education, teamwork, and engagement with shoppers in a busy retail environment.

You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with Smart Serve certification required, and a physical role including lifting up to 21 kilograms. The store offers training, incentives, and a fun culture as part of Arterra Wines.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and wine education.
• Perform POS transactions and replenishment duties.
