Job summary

Wine Rack is seeking a friendly Wine Merchant to deliver outstanding customer service and wine education. You’ll help customers, process sales at the POS, and keep shelves stocked. The role requires evening/weekend availability and a Smart Serve certificate.

You will participate in store events and tastings while learning Arterra’s award-winning wines in a fun, team environment.

Qualifications

• 19 years of age or older and high school or equivalent education.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 21 kg, standing, reaching, bending, ladders).
• Deliver exceptional customer experience with enthusiasm.
• Retail experience is an asset.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
• Operate POS transactions and assist with merchandising tasks.
• Receive shipments and replenish stock on the floor.
• Meet and strive to exceed shift targets.
• Participate in community initiatives and local events.
