Sales Associate - Summer Employment

We are Ottawa’s premium wood preserving experts delivering the highest standard in quality exterior wood finishing. Serving the Ottawa area since 2016, Sand & Stain has been an industry leader in staining decks, fences, pergolas, and expanding into residential and commercial washing. We are a locally owned business that operates in both the East & West end of Ottawa.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for motivated and outgoing individuals to join our Door-to-Door Sales Team! This is a dynamic sales role ideal for those who enjoy engaging with people, working outdoors, and being part of a fun, energetic team. Your primary responsibility will be generating leads for our services by distributing flyers, speaking with homeowners, and capturing property details for onsite sales and production. This flexible role offers daytime or evening hours, making it a great fit for individuals who thrive in an active environment. You would be paid for your performance, and top performers would have the opportunity to do some light labour, such as power washing - a bonus way to cool off on hot summer days. If you're a people person who enjoys sales and the outdoors, this is the perfect role for you!

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have access to a vehicle
2. Open to working flexible hours (30-60 hours / week)
3. Able to travel to either the east-end or west-end of Ottawa
4. Strong time management skills
5. Solid attention for detail
6. Reliable & Punctual
7. Ability to work alone and with a team
8. Good English communication skills
9. A positive, can-do attitude!

COMPENSATION:

Our staff are paid by performance. Bonuses are available for number of hours produced and quality ratings and revenues generated.
