GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate creates exceptional value in the lives of patients by delivering outstanding eye care in your neighborhood. Join our team to develop your selling and consultative skills while helping meet team goals.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently achieve sales targets and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help them find the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic phone and math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills with a desire to meet goals and accountability for sales results
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
