Job summary

Rona Atlantique in Charlottetown, PEI, is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to greet customers, assess needs and offer product advice. You will present merchandise, demo items, and suggest complementary products while contributing to merchandising and store presentation.

You'll stay informed of new products, promotions, and sales targets, while following health and safety policies. The role offers opportunities for growth within a community-focused home improvement retailer.

• Assess customer needs and provide well informed product advice.
• Present merchandise (including demos), emphasize item features, and recommend complementary items.
• Contribute to the merchandising of products in your department (displays, visuals, labeling, signage).
• Stay informed of new products and their technical applications.
• Contribute to the achievement of sales targets.
• Stay informed of promotions and flyers.
• Follow store policies on loss prevention and health and safety.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
