Job summary

Sleep Country in Canada seeks a full-time Sales Associate to engage customers, promote quality products and services, and help maintain attractive store presentation. You will assist with receiving, organizing and counting inventory while working with the Sales team to exceed goals and expectations.

The role offers an opportunity to earn commissions with a potential to reach around $70,000 per year, reflecting historical averages and commission-based earnings.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in Sales, Retail and/or Customer Service is an asset.
• Positive, optimistic attitude with strong customer focus.
• Ambitious and willing to commit to continued education and learning.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Keep stores visually appealing through presentation, replenishment and housekeeping.

In this current open role, you will:

• Engage with customers to identify their needs and wants, promote our quality products and service offerings
• Ensure our stores are always visually appealing through product presentation, replenishment and store housekeeping
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and completing inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels
• Work together as part of the Sales team to exceed goals and expectations

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

• Ideally have 1-3 years of experience in Sales, Retail and/or Customer Service, this isconsidered an asset and not mandatoryas we will invest in the right person!
• A positive, optimistic attitude and a strong customer focus
• Be ambitious and willing to commit to continuous education and learning
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends
• Critical thinking skills and the ability tackle problems on your own
