General Function

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help customers find the best vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain store appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills
• Embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for results
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment
