Position Overview

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience at LensCrafters. This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Consistently deliver sales plans and meet company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
4. Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
5. Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
4. Ability to embrace new technology and adapt with high accuracy
5. Strong sales skills and accountability for sales results
6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
7. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
