Color & Curl Concierge

The Color & Curl Concierge / Colour & Curl Specialist is our ambassador to the industry, demonstrating expertise in color, talent development, technical skills, social media, business, and sales.

In addition to daily sales responsibilities, the CCC/CCS focuses on:

• Creating customer retention and loyalty
• Building relationships to enhance brand awareness and market share
• Selling approved beauty products, introducing new products, providing customer service, and conducting product education both in-store and virtually
• Offering color & curl/texture consulting to salons, spas, schools, and licensed cosmetologists

This role requires extensive education through online learning and certification courses.

Primary Duties

Your expertise in Color & Curl/Texture guides your main responsibilities:

• Assessing customer needs and recommending suitable products and advice
• Communicating with team members and vendors about calls, visits, orders, and sales progress
• Resolving customer concerns promptly and effectively
• Maintaining high standards in merchandising, signage, and store presentation according to brand guidelines
• Staying informed about industry trends and adapting sales techniques accordingly
• Performing store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and deposits
• Demonstrating company values and adhering to ethical standards

Experience And Skills Required

• At least one year of retail or sales experience
• Licensed cosmetologist preferred in US and Canada
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel to shows and meetings at least 3 times a year
• Strong business acumen and ability to interpret sales reports
• Knowledge of retail systems, visual merchandising, POS, and social media
• Flexibility to work additional hours and in different locations as needed
• Excellent time management, communication, and professional interaction skills
• Must pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Work involves typical safety precautions in offices, stores, and vehicles, including safe equipment use and adherence to safety regulations.
