Color & Curl Concierge
The Color & Curl Concierge / Colour & Curl Specialist is our industry ambassador, showcasing our expertise in color, talent development, technical skills, social media, and business and selling skills.
Alongside daily sales responsibilities, the CCC/CCS aims to:
- Create increased customer retention and loyalty.
- Build lasting relationships and promote brand awareness and hair color market share.
- Utilize market analysis to sell approved beauty products, introduce new products and concepts, provide customer service, and conduct product education both in-store and virtually.
- Provide color & curl/texture consulting services to professional beauty salons, barbers, spas, schools, and licensed cosmetologists.
This role is essential for driving the color & curl business and requires extensive online education and certification.
Primary Duties
- Serve as the expert in Color & Curl/Texture, determining customer needs and offering professional advice and product recommendations.
- Communicate with team members and vendors regarding calls, visits, orders, sales progress, follow-up plans, and customer assistance.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain high standards in merchandising, signage, and store displays to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Stay informed of emerging trends, adapt to market changes, and share industry knowledge.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures, including occasional bank deposits and cash handling.
- Demonstrate company values and adhere to ethical standards.

Experience and Skills
- At least one year of retail or sales experience.
- Licensed cosmetologist preferred in US and Canada.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel for meetings and shows.
- Strong business acumen and familiarity with sales reporting.
- Knowledge of retail systems, inventory control, visual merchandising, POS applications, and social media platforms.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Excellent time management, organization, communication, and professional presentation skills.
- Must pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire.
