Job description

A Sales Associate is responsible for executing the Mission Statement daily, which includes providing First Class Service to both internal and external customers. The Sales Associate may perform tasks on the sales floor or in a support environment. This position ensures a positive customer shopping experience in a well-maintained and friendly environment.

Position Requirements:
  1. Demonstrate selling experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented retail setting.
  2. Ability to greet, sell, and thank customers effectively.
  3. Prioritize the customer at all times.
  4. Provide memorable, personalized customer service through needs analysis and product recommendations.
  5. Offer customers promotional products and services.
  6. Resolve customer service issues and escalate when necessary.
  7. Maintain good working relationships with fellow associates.
  8. Maintain store appearance, including visual merchandising, housekeeping, and maintenance standards.
  9. Accurately conduct customer transactions on the POS system.
  10. Efficiently handle receiving, cycle counts, product returns, and transfers using handheld devices.
  11. Complete required process controls accurately.
  12. Follow company policies, procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
  13. Understand and comply with Cash Handling and Loss Prevention SOPs.
Position Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Retail or customer service experience preferred (minimum one year).
  3. Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team environment.
  4. Excellent customer service and effective communication skills in English.
  5. Self-starter capable of prioritizing and multitasking.
  6. Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  7. Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  8. Ability to pass relevant background and security checks.
  9. Physical ability to perform tasks such as heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.), long standing, climbing, bending, and work during nights, weekends, and holidays.
  10. Must be available to work between 12pm – 2AM or 3:30AM to 12AM, with reliable transportation to the airport.

Experience:

Preferred: Minimum two years of retail or customer service experience, specifically in Canada.
