Job summary

Ace Liquor Sylvan Lake is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our fast-paced store team. You’ll help customers, process payments, and keep shelves stocked and organized while ensuring age verification is performed at checkout.

We value reliability, teamwork, and a positive, learn‑oriented attitude. ProServe certification is preferred, and physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required. Flexible scheduling and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
• ProServe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Associate, you support the daily operations of the store by ensuring customers have a great experience and the store remains clean, organized, and compliant.

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
• Valid ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
• Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
