Job summary

Ace Liquor Discounter Summerside is seeking a Sales Associate to help ensure a positive customer experience, maintain a clean and organized store, and support daily operations.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided to helpyou succeed and grow within the banner and SNDL portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• ProServe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be able to stand/walk for most of the shift.
• Reliable, positive, and able to support team goals.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide product recommendations.
• Operate the cash register and process payments.
• Restock shelves and assist with inventory checks.
• Check customer IDs to verify legal purchasing age.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Associate, you support the daily operations of the store by ensuring customers have a great experience and the store remains clean, organized, and compliant. Your responsibilities include:

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
• Valid ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
• Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
