The Salvation Army is seeking a Store Clerk/Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service, sort incoming donations, and assist the store manager with operations. You will help maintain clean, attractive displays and ensure accurate transaction processing.
Responsibilities include replenishing inventory, pricing items, and contributing to a safe, welcoming shopping environment. Prior retail or volunteer experience is a plus.

The Store Clerk/Sales Associate provides service to customers, sorts incoming products, and assists the manager in the maintenance of all store operations.
NOTE: Not all incumbents perform all of the duties described above but perform a similar range of duties.
The successful job applicant will have completed Public School.
NOTE: An alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable.

The performance of the job requires continuously standing for long periods of time, frequent twisting, bending, crouching, reaching, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling, lifting, kneeling and entering data for transactions.
The performance of the job requires visual monitoring and frequently working with numbers.
The incumbent’s responsibility for Financial Resources: The incumbent is involved in minor financial matters regularly, or on a relief basis, or has responsibility for the wise use of his/her own resources. He/She may be authorized to spend, disburse, or collect small amounts of cash. The incumbent has very little input into the annual budget.
The incumbent’s responsibility for Human Resources: The incumbent is responsible for his/her own time and effort only. He/She may demonstrate work methods to new employees, volunteers and/or students.
The incumbent’s work environment is typically in the store.
The incumbent may have little to no travel required.
The incumbent works shift (days/nights - vary week to week).
Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion (i.e., The Salvation Army Abuse Registry) and provide an original copy of a Background Check screening.
The target hiring range for this position is $18.25 to $21.04 with a maximum of $23.82.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
