Staples Canada is seeking a retail sales associate in Yorkton, SK to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales across furniture, technology and supplies. You will collaborate with store leaders to set goals, maintain store standards, and support merchandising and signage.

Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, assisting customers, de-escalating complex situations, and keeping the store clean and safe.

Formación

• 3 months to 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
