Job description

As a Sales Associate, you will be eligible for:

The Sales Associate at United Pacific works at an assigned store location and assists in the operation of the facility in a safe, customer-focused, and profitable manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Daily cash handling
2. Lighting, fixtures cleaning, and maintenance
3. Ensuring the security of all inventory and currency to prevent theft and inventory shrinkage

You will report to the Store Manager and will receive direct supervision within a framework of well-defined United Pacific company policies and procedures. The role requires the ability to learn to operate a cash register, computer console, and other related equipment and tools.

Qualifications include:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States, if hired
• Willingness to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead, assisting in stocking and inventory maintenance, with appropriate safety equipment
• Ability to occasionally climb ladders to store and retrieve materials or place/remove signage
• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, often for extended periods
• Capable of working in small spaces when required
