QE Home is seeking a Sales Associate in Halifax to provide friendly, personalized service and guide guests through our bedding and home décor collections. You’ll help shoppers find the perfect pieces while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment and staying current on product features and promotions.

Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing, restocking, and processing transactions, plus collaborating with the team to reach sales targets in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or guest service experience.
• Able to build connections, listen, ask questions, and offer product recommendations.
• Confident handling merchandising tasks and store standards.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Providingexceptional, personalized service to everyguestwho walks through the door.
• Buildingmeaningful connections by listening, asking questions, and offering thoughtful product recommendations.

• Assistingwith daily store operations, including opening and closing, restocking, and processing transactions.

The Physical Side of the Role

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to shift, push, reach, stretch, twist, bend, pull or maneuver weight over 50 lbs. to fold, stock and build or display merchandise. In addition, you may be required to change beds including moving a mattress to put on a bed skirt.
• Comfortable climbingladders formerch merchandising and stock.
