Job summary

Bikini Village is seeking energetic retail staff to join our diverse, local team. You’ll help customers find lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear, explain product details, and provide excellent service in a busy store environment.

This permanent, part-time role offers a 50% employee discount, flexible hours, and opportunities for advancement within a family‑owned business. Bilingual abilities are an asset and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in retail is preferred.
• Interest in clothing that celebrates feel-good femininity (lingerie, sleepwear, swimwear).
• Customer needs are listened to for exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find products in the store.
• Explain product features, materials and options to customers.
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Stage products on the sales floor for a memorable experience.
• Keep store and back area clean and tidy.
• Recommend top picks and share new product arrivals.
• Process transactions at the cash register and follow policies.

What a typical workday looks like

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here's how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they're looking for and answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don't worry, we'll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
