Job summary

La Vie en Rose is hiring to join a fun, friendly team in Burnaby. As a part-time, permanent sales associate, you’ll help customers find the right lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear while delivering outstanding service.

You’ll work flexible hours in a fast-paced fashion retail environment, earn an hourly wage between CAD 18.25 and 19.55, and be eligible for group insurance, personal days, RRSP contributions and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in retail.
• Love fashion and lingerie to celebrate femininity.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work holidays and longer hours during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer warmly and assist with finding products.
• Explain product details, materials and features to customers.
• Assist customers in fitting rooms and respond to their needs.
• Aim to meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Display products on the sales floor for a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and back area clean and organized.
• Identify new products and share top picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process transactions.
• Follow head office policies and procedures as explained.

What a typical workday looks like

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here’s how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

PERMANENT, PART TIME

HOURLY SALARY : 18,25 $ - 19,55 $
