Job summary

Carter’s in Charlottetown is seeking a Sales Associate to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll greet customers, introduce baby essentials, and help prepare for school moments in a welcoming environment.

You’ll provide friendly service, resolve issues, process POS transactions, restock floors, and explain promotions and loyalty programs. Carter’s offers a 30% employee discount and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Confidently resolve customer issues and balance multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel shopping as needed for a positive experience.
• Execute and expedite point of sale transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipments as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program to customers.
• Minimize store loss by providing excellent service and keeping the store safe and clean.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program to customers
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store

You can

• Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling

Compensation

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience and location.
