Job summary

Bikini Village in Montérégie, Canada, is seeking a permanent, full-time sales associate to join a diverse team. You will greet customers, help them find items, explain product features, and drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including holidays. Bilingual English/French is an asset and growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers in English and/or French is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer warmly as they enter the store.
• Help customers find products, answer questions, and explain features and materials.
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers.
• Aim to meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Position products on the sales floor to create a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and backroom clean and organized.
• Share top product picks with customers and stay aware of new arrivals.
• Accompany customers to the register and complete transactions.
• Follow head office policies and procedures as explained by management.
• Perform other duties to support the sales team.

What a typical workday looks like

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for assisting and advising customers while working to maximize sales. Here’s how:

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
