Staples Canada is seeking a customer-focused associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional service in our store. You will engage customers with tailored product recommendations and maintain store standards to support a smooth shopping experience.

Responsibilities include processing POS transactions, handling shipping tasks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. Team collaboration and flexible hours are valued as part of our dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Engage with customers and sell tailored products using all tools and techniques in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
