As a Sales Assistant at COBS Bread, you will:
  1. Work as part of a small team, providing an exceptional customer experience and getting to know your regular, loyal customers.
  2. Be responsible for merchandising products and executing marketing campaigns.
  3. Assist with keeping the bakery clean and support production when needed (including learning how to bake items like scones and Danishes).
Requirements
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
  1. Someone who takes pride in providing a great and personable customer experience.
  2. Experience handling cash, credit, and debit transactions is preferred.
  3. Relevant retail experience is a strong asset.
  4. A positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
  5. Reliable, self-motivated individuals who enjoy learning new skills.
  6. A team player who is approachable and enjoys working with people.
Physical Requirements
  • Continuous standing and walking during shifts.
  • Frequent use of hands and forceful gripping.
  • Operating the POS system regularly.
  • Occasional lifting up to 22 kg, reaching, bending, and turning.
