COBS Bread Shawnessy is growing, and we're looking for a Mature FULL TIME Sales Assistant to join our team. We are looking to hire the right person who wants to grow with us and advance into a management role as an Assistant Sales Manager. Some experience in the food service industry is preferred but as long as you have the right attitude and you're interested in learning new skills, we can train you!

As a Sales Assistant at COBS Bread, you will:

• Work as part of a small team, providing exceptional customer service, and getting to know your regular customers
• Be responsible for merchandising product and executing marketing campaigns
• Perform afternoon baking, cleaning, and closing the bakery
• Be available for all shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and assist with production as needed

• Open availability including evenings and weekends
• Strong customer service focus and ability to multitask
• Experience in handling cash, credit card, and debit transactions is preferred
• Relevant retail experience is a strong asset
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• Reliability and self-motivation, and enjoy learning new skills
• A team player who is approachable and enjoys working with people
• Takes pride in providing a great and personable experience for our customers

• Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
• Constant use of both hands, and frequent forceful gripping
• Continually operating the POS system
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5 kg, reaching below shoulder level, bending, and turning
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg, pushing, pulling, crouching, bending, and reaching above shoulder level
