Some Of What You Do

As the Sales Area Representative, you are responsible for the customer experience on the retail floor. You stay updated on the latest products and trends within office & workspace categories. You connect with customers, share your knowledge and enthusiasm, and partner in a consultative manner to offer solutions that help customers achieve their working & learning goals.

Specifically, You Will

• Connect, share, and partner with customers to identify solutions that cater to their needs and add value.
• Identify referral opportunities, reconnect, and follow up with customers.
• Maintain merchandising standards, including pricing, signage, planograms, promotional planners, and displays.
• Stay updated through internal communication channels.
• Serve customers at the checkout, customer service centre, and on the phone.
• Follow all loss prevention measures and ensure store cleanliness and standards.
• Maintain a safe environment, prioritizing safety for yourself, colleagues, and customers.

Qualifications

• Three months to one year of related experience preferred.
• Working towards or successful completion of high school preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to resolve customer concerns diplomatically.
• Curious, approachable, passionate, and solutions-oriented.

Additional Information

• A moderate amount of physical effort and equipment operation is required.
• Movement of freight using ladders and stock pickers.
