Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee in Stoney Creek, ON. You will use your degree to run a business, solve problems for customers and advance in sales and operations.

The role includes training, mentoring, and opportunities across sales, operations, finance, and technology. The position offers a fast-path to management, flexible schedules, benefits, incentives and a distributed career path nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; business or marketing preferred.
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license; willingness to drive Penske vehicles including a 26’ box truck.
• Ability to travel to the US for training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing or sales role preferred.
• Results orientation, attention to detail and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts (including Fortune 500).
• Manage large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts - including many of the Fortune 500.
• Manage our large inventory of world class and nationally recognized vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and dynamic workspace
• Generate new business leads as well as foster existing customer relationships
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing
• A valid Class G Ontario driver’s license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive our Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck
• Ability to travel into the US for Training
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing or sales role preferred
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference check.
