Job summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a Sales and Operations Associate in Canada. This full-time entry-level role offers hands-on learning, mentoring, and a clear path to advancement in sales and operations within a leading wholesale distributor for plumbing and HVAC products.

You will learn end-to-end processes from shipping to sales, while developing customer service and account management skills in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn the products we sell and how they reach the customer from vendor to client.

• Process orders from start to finish, including quotes, account management, sourcing material, delivery, and follow-up.

The Sales and Operations Associate is a full-time entry level position, where you will learn hands-on and receive the guidance, mentoring, and support you need to be successful in your career at EMCO. The ideal candidate is someone that takes ownership of working in a warehouse environment for the first 6-12 months and focused on learning the foundation of our business. You need to be hard working, quick learner, great with people and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Although we are looking for a candidate that focuses and strives on sales, successful graduates of the program have continued their careers with EMCO in various positions such as Senior Account Managers, Technical Sales Specialists, Purchasers, Operations Managers and more!

As an Sales and Operations Associate, you will progress through a structured training regiment to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between.

Additional duties will include:

Warehouse Logistics

• Learn the products we sell, how they get from the vendor to the customer and understand all levels of sales support.
• Get involved in our customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements and much more...
• Gain the skills and knowledge to process orders for our customers from start to finish, including providing timely quotes, account management,sourcing material, ensuring delivery, follow-up and much more...

Outside Sales/Account Management

• Learn how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.

Finally - You can take all of your training and determine your ideal career path.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000

Salary Range is based on total compensation for a first year teammate in the Sales and Operations Associate role. It is a combination of base salary plus profit sharing based on performance of the individual as well as the business.
