Job description

We are looking for a Sales and Operations Analyst to join the team here at Hero Dog Treats.

This new role will be dynamic in that you will be involved in the full business cycle. You will support the various departments on both a tactical and strategic level, across all functional groups, becoming a trusted advisor to management. In your resume or cover letter please mention your favorite breed of cat or dog. There will be a mix of routine reporting, projects, and ad-hoc requests making every day different.

Below is a list of the various activities this role will be involved in. We do not expect you to be familiar with everything as it is a broad list. You ideally are strong in at least one domain and have an interest in learning the others.

Analytics:

• Sales
• Pricing
• Promotion/discount analysis and reviews
• Charge backs

Operations

• EOQ calculations
• Stocking levels
• BoM analysis
• Capacity planning
• Master scheduling

Supply Chain/Demand Planning

• Demand planning 6-12 months
• Ordering plans 3-6 months

Financial

• Annual Budgeting
• Cash Flows
• Capital Expense ROI
• Reconciliations

Reporting

• Customer to budget
• Profitability (Customer and SKU)
• Inventory (on hand and turns)
• KPIs and dashboards for the above

Projects

• Annual Budget process
• Annual Price review/increases
• SKU rationalization
• Project management
• Commercialization
• New Equipment analysis and commissioning
• Some QA functions

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years previous analytics work in any of the domains
• Ability to work independently and in highly ambiguous environments
• Strong Excel skills
