Job Description

Located in Peachland BC, TNI, The Network Inc. is looking to fill five [5] vacant positions for a Sales and Fundraising Associate. Our team of full-time fundraisers are trained to empower people to support our non-profit partners and to play a part in the wonderful work that they do! You can experience gainful employment while supporting these great causes through our organized campaigns that include visiting residential communities, speaking to people at high traffic points, and more!

Who we are looking for:

  • Individuals with effective communication skills and the ability to present information clearly

This will be a full-time, permanent position.

Job duties:

  • Attend daily team training sessions at our local office.
  • Participate in our in-person face-to-face fundraising campaigns in residential communities (neighborhood canvassing) and high traffic points.
  • Encourage and inspire people to become a monthly donor.
  • Solicit sales and organize fundraising activities.
  • Raise awareness of the organization’s goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing donors.
  • Handle questions related to the fundraising campaigns or company-related questions.

Job requirements:

  • Completed secondary school.
  • Proficiency in English, including speaking and writing components.
  • Able to meet multiple deadlines and balance a heavy workload, with excellent organization skills.
  • Candidate must be willing to work independently and manage teams with a high level of accuracy, have excellent interpersonal skills, and display a high level of professionalism.

Expectations & Benefits:

  • Work 40 hours/week.
  • Hours are 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, Monday - Friday.
  • Applicants may be required to work on weekends as per work demand.
  • Compensation starts at $18.40/hour.
  • Benefits include extended health and dental benefits and minimum provincial benefits.
  • The position requires the applicant to work in various locations.
