Job description

Location : Full-Time, Onsite – Near 401 / Kipling Ave. Toronto

Travel : Occasional local travel required (mileage reimbursed)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established national CPG brand whose products are found in major retailers across the country. They also specialize in wholesale distribution. Currently, they are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales & Customer Service Coordinator to support client relationships, manage order processing, and handle key administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys solving problems, and is confident communicating with both customers and internal teams. Experience with national retail accounts such as Loblaw, Walmart, or Fortinos is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support requests.
  • Make outbound calls to existing accounts to process orders, confirm inventory needs, and promote new product offerings.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key retail and distribution partners.
  • Provide exceptional service by responding promptly to customer concerns and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Share product knowledge and promotional details with customers via phone and email.
  • Proactively follow up with accounts to drive reorders and support ongoing sales targets.
  • Accurately enter sales orders, invoices, and customer statements into company systems.
  • Manage order tracking, fulfillment, and communication with logistics as needed.
  • Generate and distribute regular sales and performance reports for internal use.
  • Maintain customer databases and manage entries for new products.
  • Support collections by contacting customers with outstanding payments.
  • Assist with marketing communications, such as promotional product lists and email campaigns.
  • Perform general office administration duties including filing, data entry, and scheduling support.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales administration—preferably in the food or retail industry.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM systems and NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for occasional retail visits are preferred.
