Job description

The Inside Sales Representative is a key member of our sales team. Your role involves consulting with both new and existing customers to expand your book of business by providing exceptional service tailored to their plastics needs. As an Inside Sales Representative at EM Plastic, you will represent and sell a wide range of trusted performance plastics brands, employing a solution-oriented approach and demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty, and ensuring retention through excellent sales and service.

  1. Place outbound calls to new and existing accounts to identify opportunities, decision makers, and customer service needs.
  2. Collaborate with the office and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.
  3. Work closely with the outside sales team to proactively increase market share.
  4. Assist with inventory management based on customer requirements.
  5. Demonstrate strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
  6. (Preferred) Hold a BA or BS degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
  7. (Preferred) Have experience in plastics or industrial distribution.
  8. (Preferred) Possess at least one year of commercial sales experience.
