Job description

As a Sales Administrator, you’ll provide sales support to two Sales Representatives by managing orders, monitoring inventory, and coordinating logistics while maintaining clear communication with clients about deliveries. Your role will involve processing orders, arranging shipments, and acting as the key liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations. This full-time permanent position offers a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

THE COMPANY & CULTURE:

Our client was founded in 1977. It is a leading North American manufacturer of high-quality mechanical and structural steel tubing for industries like automotive, construction, and mining. The company operates from a 230,000 sq. ft. ISO-certified facility, specializing in tight-tolerance, custom-sized tubing—including hard-to-find specifications—with a legacy of innovation (like pioneering exhaust system steel grades). Known for stamping its name on every product, with a focus on durability, rapid turnaround, and collaborative customer partnerships.

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Head Office - Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

  • Working from the office 5 days a week

  • Full-time - Monday to Friday (business hours are 8-4)

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • University or college degree

  • 3+ years of sales support/administrator experience

  • Experience in steel-related products will be considered as a bonus

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word skills

  • ERP software (Business Central)

  • Mathematical aptitude

  • Organizational skills
