Job description

The Integrity Group of Companies comprises five distinct business units, primarily focusing on:

  • Construction of post frame buildings across Western Canada
  • Supplying framing material packages to homebuilders in Calgary and surrounding areas
  • Manufacturing

The Account Specialist will be responsible for building business relationships and expanding opportunities with new and existing customers for Integrity Building Products. This role also involves managing client relationships and contracts. The ideal candidate is an ambitious self-starter with a keen eye for detail, understanding the importance of relationship management and customer service excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through proactive communication and relationship-building strategies.
  2. Collaborate with clients to determine product or service requirements.
  3. Handle quotes and orders for lumber, trusses, and floor systems.
  4. Process transactions, including sales, returns, and VPOs for Integrity accounts and customers.
  5. Investigate loss of sales and/or contract profitability as needed.
  6. Identify and acquire new clients through outbound strategies such as phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and industry networking.
  7. Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address client concerns promptly.
  8. Work closely with internal teams such as Estimating, Design, and Operations to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
  9. Adapt to new processes or protocols as required, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum three years of experience in the homebuilding or lumber industry.
  • Sales experience in building materials or within the Calgary homebuilding industry is an asset.
