About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Area Manager to join our growing team in Quebec. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth across all sales channels in the assigned region, with a strong focus on key accounts and new business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement short- to medium-term commercial plans for clients.
Collaborate with local distributors to grow the retail customer base (medium-small accounts).
Manage and expand relationships with Key Customers across Industry, Bakery, Food Service, Retail, and Gelato channels.
Identify and execute strategies to unlock new business opportunities.
Expand customer coverage across various sales channels in the assigned territory.
Work closely with the General Manager to drive product innovation and tailor solutions to regional market needs.
Conduct market research to support business development initiatives.
Represent the company at national and international trade fairs and industry events.
Monitor competitor activity and emerging market trends.
Contribute to the development of new products and explore untapped channels.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in Bakery, Food Service, or related food industry sectors.
Proven ability to work independently and manage a territory.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the region
Bilingual: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
