Title: Sales Account Executive - Products & Service

Reports To: Director of Sales & Service

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey

Shift: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday on site, Hybrid option after probationary period and performance evaluation.

Wage: Competitive Salary + commission (with potential for larger bonuses based on exceeding targets)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Executive to lead the growth of Cenmed in the laboratory and scientific markets.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new leads, converting them into long-term clients, and nurturing strong relationships with existing customers. You’ll also aim to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, ensuring both company and client success.

Candidates with experience in laboratory environments and a solid understanding of scientific products are highly valued, as you’ll be engaging with clients in research labs, clinical labs, and healthcare organizations to deliver tailored solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within research labs, clinical labs, and healthcare organizations.
  • Sell laboratory products, equipment, and services while managing all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Utilize professional, consultative, and strategic selling skills to expand existing accounts and establish new relationships.
  • Conduct cold calls to develop new clients.
  • Build and execute a business plan for your territory, monitor progress, and report regularly to the Sales Director.
  • Collaborate with Service Operations to align on market opportunities and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Prepare and negotiate service bids, manage pricing strategies, and ensure client requirements and timelines are met.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and projections using Dynamics CRM.
  • Attend client meetings, vendor visits, and industry events to represent Cenmed and grow your network.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Be accountable for revenue and KPI targets.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Experience in government, healthcare, clinical labs, or service sales is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex relationships.
  • Organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, especially Dynamics CRM is a plus.
  • Ability to build and grow B2B networks in laboratory environments.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations and industry events.
  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision within deadlines.

Performance Metrics

  • Achieve or exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Grow new accounts and retain existing ones.
  • Use Dynamics CRM effectively to manage pipelines and client activities.
