Job description

Our client in a service-based industry is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for an immediate six-month contract. This role is onsite in Guelph. You must have a working knowledge of Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Financial Analyst your primary task will be to complete multiple complex reconciliations, analysis, and data validation. The Sage Intacct Senior Financial Analyst will assist the Controller with all other aspects of the month-end close as assigned. You will also assist in the implementation of Sage Intacct via testing and validation of data from the old system to the new Sage Intacct cloud-based version. This includes setting up vendors, users, approval routes, importing invoices for payment processing, reviewing and approving invoices to ensure correct GL coding, and managing voided checks.

Qualifications

You must have at least 5 years experience working as a Senior Financial Analyst or Senior Accountant.

Working knowledge of Sage Intacct, ideally having been a part of at least one implementation.

Experience in transactional, full-cycle accounting and analysis

Ideally, you have or are pursuing your CPA Designation

Willingness to step in, and help wherever needed.

Must be able to go into the office every day.
