Responsibilities
  • Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention.
  • Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Train staff.
  • Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards.
  • Coach staff.
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
Supervision
  • 5-10 people.
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Experience and Specialization
  • MS Outlook.
  • MS Word.
