A leading construction firm in Ontario seeks a Safety Specialist to ensure a safe work environment across various projects. Key responsibilities include implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. We are looking for a Safety Specialist based out of Ontario who will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment on our construction projects by implementing and enforcing safety policies, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety. This role plays a critical part in minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with all local, provincial, and federal safety regulations, and Kiewit's safety policies and procedures.
District Overview
Kiewit’s Eastern Canada District serves the construction and mining industries, operating across the eastern region of Canada. We specialize in highways, bridges, mass transit, mine site development and open pit operations, hydroelectric powerhouses, wind power, dams and industrial projects.
Location
The successful candidate will be located in Ontario and willing to work on a remote turnaround project as their first assignment. The candidate will also beopen to potentially relocating across Ontario and Eastern Canada for future assignments.
