  6. Maintain and update the Health, Safety & Security (HSS) Framework and guide implementation of required processes.
  7. Develop and maintain comprehensive project safety documentation and training records.
  8. Coordinate and track safety training requirements for project team members.
  9. Conduct safety audits and inspections to assess compliance with OH&S regulations and site-specific requirements.
  10. Investigate near-miss events and incidents; document root causes and assign corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
  11. Track CAPAs to ensure they are completed on time and are effective in addressing safety concerns.
  12. Review and provide input on contractor safety submissions, incident investigation reports, and proposed mitigation actions.
  13. Produce safety performance reports and provide input for project-level key performance indicators (KPIs).
  14. Ensure accurate and timely incident reporting; collect and organize safety metrics and documentation.
  15. Support development and delivery of safety-related training, presentations, and communication packages tailored to role-specific responsibilities.
  16. Promote a dynamic lessons-learned culture to drive continuous improvement in project safety performance.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  1. In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  2. Strong experience with site audits, inspections, incident investigations, and CAPA processes.
  3. Proven track record of successfully implementing safety management systems on complex infrastructure or civil construction projects.
  4. Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills to support internal and external reporting needs.
  5. Adept at influencing cross-functional teams and facilitating safety culture change.
  6. Skilled in managing competing priorities and maintaining responsiveness in dynamic field environments.
  7. Technically proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant digital safety reporting systems.
  8. Tunnel or transit infrastructure experience is a strong asset.

Education and Experience
